Excelitas Introduces pco.scheimpflug Camera Adapter for Large Image Sensors
Single-Axis Scheimpflug Adjustment Module Enables Selective Focus, Expanded Depth-of-Field and Improved Sharpness Across Three-Dimensional Objects in a Single Image Capture
Excelitas Technologies® Corp., a leading industrial technology manufacturer focused on delivering innovative, market-driven photonic solutions, today introduced the pco.scheimpflug Camera Adapter. Optimized for large image sensors, the new pco.scheimpflug Camera Adapter allows quick and easy fine adjustment of the focal plane of PCO® imaging systems to oblique angles. This enables users to achieve selective focus, expanded depth-of-field, and improved sharpness across three-dimensional objects within a single image capture.
Designed for PCO cameras, including the pco.edge 10 bi LT CLHS sCMOS Camera and pco.edge 26 USB/CLHS sCMOS Cameras, the pco.scheimpflug also offers an option for V-Groove interface to the LINOS® Lens portfolio. It is an ideal solution for applications requiring scientific imaging techniques such as particle image velocimetry, or planar laser-induced fluorescence, as well as for process monitoring, including visualization of spray applications, or in additive manufacturing.
