Giving Back to the Community
We encourage community involvement
. Excelitas Technologies has aligned its CSR strategy with a robust volunteer program called “Excelitas
Service Day.” Excelitas Service Day was created to afford each employee time to reflect on the needs of others and to go out into our local communities
and give back with the gifts of time, talent, and labor. Since Excelitas Service Day was initiated in 2013, Excelitas employees in North America, Europe,
and Asia have volunteered approximately 200,000 hours of their time to make a difference at various charities and nonprofit organizations.
Ensuring a Sustainable Future
We care about the environment. One of our goals at Excelitas is to enable a wide range of energy-conserving applications to help ensure a more
sustainable future. Our products that support these applications include Pyroelectric Infrared Sensors, Thermopile Infrared Sensors, Silicon Photodiodes,
Photocells, Optics, Lasers, and Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs). Also, we have established an Environmental Efficiency Index, which tracks energy and natural
resource consumption, hazardous waste generation and disposal, as well as recycling programs. The results that we learn from this index help us to
continuously reduce energy consumption through the use of technologies such as LEDs, solar power, e-waste disposal, water conservation, and the recycling
of packaging/shipping materials. Further demonstrating our commitment to the environment worldwide, Excelitas is both ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 compliant
and participates in major environmental initiatives such as REACH, RoHS, EICC, and Conflict Minerals.

a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. To achieve this, Excelitas has established a Continuous Improvement philosophy, which is embedded into our
corporate culture and shared among our 5,500+ employees worldwide.
Ensuring Business Ethics and Labor Regulatory Compliance
We are committed to providing competitive compensation and benefit programs in each of the countries in which we operate to allow us to attract, motivate,
and retain a world-class team. We support and endorse employee betterment and learning through programs such as subsidies to continue their education. In
addition to tuition reimbursement, we conduct a number of internal workshops and seminars focused on employee onboarding and training.
We regularly train our workforce and reinforce the importance of ethical business practices by providing a clear and anonymous process for escalating
suspect unethical behavior.
Being a socially responsible corporate citizen, Excelitas takes great pride and effort to cultivate a sustainable value for our employees, the
environment and the business. We have laid down a strong ethics, labor , environmental, health and safety foundation within our corporation and
manufacturing sites which are compliant to all applicable laws and regulations. To further align and benchmark against EICC Code of Conduct, Excelitas
has recently become a member of EICC-ON and has started actively participating in this initiative to not only further enhance our core moral values within
the organization but also partner with our key supply chain on this on-going initiative.
The Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) Code of Conduct establishes standards to ensure that working conditions in the electronics
industry supply chain are safe, that workers are treated with respect and dignity, and that business operations are environmentally responsible and
